Super charger protection from elements?

My blower was fitted in early 2010 and has since done around 60,000 kms, no probs with belt drive re road debris/dirt/moisture etc..... the belt does collect some grit and periodically I have a look at the ribbed inner surface and dig out any small bits embedded in it. Did put a new belt on halfway thru all that, no particular reason, just had it apart and thought I would.

Running an early tensioner, sort of a spring-loaded swinging arm arrangement, a Ford part by the look of it. Never been a problem there either.
 
I am not sure but since they came out to 11.9 I changed all three. Plus it was quicker then special ordering one. I have two good ones on the shelf now. We shall see how well I got her tune d in this time. I need to adjust the boost retard point and retard rate on the Vampire unit soem more. I am thinking start retard at 0PSI and retard at a rate of 1 degree per lb. of boost will work fine since I have changed the timing on the map already .
