Hi guys, I wonder if some of you have the problem as I have when the sun is shining and reflected exactly on the chrome ring around the fuel opening on the tank. Sometimes it is so bad, that I can't look normal forward! Now I can place a carbon sticker on it, but I don't like it. Maybe I let it painted black, what do you think?

Okay we have a few problems here #1 the sun has to shine to make a reflection off the chrome you my dear Friend live in Holland a place famous for its great football players a few flowers and a wee guy with a big finger but sunshine
in Florida the sunshine's 577 days a year and I have never had that problem and my bike is clean clean clean, as said stop looking at it look where you are going.

I'm guessing this is related to the relative angle of the sun, rather than the sun's actual intensity or how many days it shines. Holland sun most likely hits the bike at a slightly different angle to Florida sun. The problem could also be exacerbated by air-borne particulates which may either filter or refract the sun's rays. The particulate composition of Holland air would be different to that of Florida air.

Then again, maybe I'm just talking out my blow hole.

Yep ... sounds blow-holey

. . . depending on the azimuth and altitude relative to the declination angle and coordinates . . .
That there was out my rear blow hole!

now if you find your blind spot you can have the sun reflection off the chrome filler cap hit that part of your retina then you wouldn't see it, though i could be talking out of my rectum
