Strange oil light behavior

Symptoms:
Last night, I went on a nice cool night ride and I noticed that when I switched my accessory lights on or off, or switched the main headlight to high/low, the oil light would come on for a little bit and then turn off. It did this every time I changed a light setting as in: Switch from high to low beam, it came on for a little bit...Switch from low to high beam, it came on for a little bit....Switch accessory lights on, it came on for a little bit, switch accessory lights off, it came on for a little bit...

Background:
I have 2200 miles on the R3T (2015) now, it had its' first service at the dealer exactly as required at 600 miles and went full synth when they did it.

I went out to do a grocery run earlier today and just out of curiosity, tested it again. Same behavior. Any switching of any light setting and the oil light comes on briefly and then goes out. Sometimes its' just a blink of it coming on then off, sometimes its' a second or two.

The oil light does not come on any other time (except of course for the startup sweep it goes through). After picking up some fixins for the grill, I took a detour and went downtown to some pretty crazy steep hills. The oil light didn't come on either up or down those hills either nor does it come on going around any kind of curve or banked curve (on/off ramps, even fast/steep ones).

I have no oil puddles where I park it. I've never seen any oil puddles where I park it at work.

The next thing is of course to go park it on a level spot run it for 30 seconds and then check the oil level but its' got me raising an eyebrow.

Anyone seen/heard of anything like this? Just some weird electronic gremlin creeping up?

I haven't heard of that before, but sounds like a warranty item to me.

The manual says briefly run the motor if it has been sitting. Let it sit ten minutes and then check it with bike level.

You may already be doing that. Just throwing it in. I never ran anything with a dry sump before, and it is a bit different.

i have the older manual and it does not say anything about letting it set for ten minutes after u turn it off.
i have checked it running and it doesn't seem to matter. if u have one with a lot of drain back (defective drain back valve) letting it set 10 minutes would be a big problem.

With the bike at operating temperature, WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, and level pull the oil dip stick out and look inside the oil tank using a flash light. Don't worry oil isn't going to fly out all over the place. If you see oil close to the baffle part of the tank then you're good. I've tried the old method stated above and that left me low on oil. So I've been doing it like I stated and haven't been low or high since. Anyways works for me.

it is extremely hard for me to start a motor with no oil showing on the stick if I remember right I said something to this effect long time back. someone replied start it light goes out no problem sure putting a lot of trust in the light&sensor

i will try to clarify
i do make sure mine is at the full mark when i start it it just has to run a little to fill the filter then i turn off engine and top off the oil right away. i do not let mine set before final fill.
when it checked full i tried while it was running and the oil was in the same place.

im gone for week 10 days sometimes go out and pull the stick then ,now im saying trust the light and sensor and start the bike was always told check the oil water etc.... before starting ANY motor if its sat more than a day or so or if its new to you
