Don't know. I got the Rocket OEM bags in 2004 and there wasn't any plexiglass, just a fairly rigid backing.

QUESTION: Easy Brackets for R3 Classic/Roadster, or a similar 'Universal Bracket Mount' that can be fitted without drilling holes... I'm interested in hearing anyone's thoughts/comments on which one to use? Thanks~

Canberra gave you his (and my) opinion.. they stick out too far and offer too little support. As far as I know they all need holes to be drilled to fit them. That's why we have drilled the holes in the back of our stock saddlebags. Just the four bolts and they are on/off. Simple , cheap and effective mod
