Steering damper ?

Hi,
I've been riding my Rocket 3R for more than 6 months now and I've been trying to adjust its suspension in order to eliminate the shaking that appears in certain conditions.
Don't worry, I'm not a rabbit of the year (French expression...)! I've had dozens of bikes and I know how to adjust forks and shock absorbers, so I'll say it again: this bike probably suffers from several problems. Some are correctable and others are not...
1/the weight: nothing to do ! (a weight loss diet concerning the pilot would be more appropriate...)
2/frame geometry: nothing to do (except add a steering damper!!!)
3/the rider's way of driving: nothing to do given my age, myway of driving (WOT...what else ?) and my other bikes (Ducati, HD, Indian, HVA) don't pose a problem for me!
4/the presence of the rear transmission cardan: nothing to do ! (I owned a V-Max and there was no problem on that side)
5/the quality of the suspensions and their sensitivity to adjustments: everything needs to be done...

That’s it guys!!!
Now you can tell me what you want, this is my feeling and I also understand that it is not yours...

Don't worry though, I love this bike, especially since it lifts in 3rd gear.

100%, not my feeling as you state and for sure it’s a great bike.
That said, based on your vast experience, knowledge and 6months of tinkering I would guessed you would have resolved the problem by now, unless there’s an underlying issue you’re not wanting to acknowledge.

I truly hope you can resolve this issue and enjoy and fantastic handling bike like the rest of us. best wishes

Tinkering ? No ! but really...I passed this stage a long time ago...for information I even had the chassis, the shock and the fork checked by a suspension technician...Nothing to report other than the design of the bike. This is actually what bothers me because the modifications are impossible to make without selling a kidney. In short, apart from having a steering damper or winning the lottery to change the suspensions not much to do but it doesn't matter:

I love this bike, even with these annoying defects...

just to be clear and not to influence or discourage other that are interested in the Rocket 3, you’re the only one experiencing “annoying defects”.

So I don't think so...:

On this post too there are comments made...often stupid, it's true!
Your reaction makes me think of the reactions of Ducati fans when we tell them about the faults of their bikes, and there are some, but their qualities more than compensate...: there is no one more blind than someone who doesn't want to see anything.

Also having a Ducati SF V4 S, I witnessed the same kind of verbal joust as ours on a Ducati forum where, in the end, everyone loves their bike WITH its faults...

Have a good day, I'll leave you, I have a hurricane arriving!
