Starter Upgrades for the Aussies

Informed the Odyssey battery I got when my Yuasa died is not as good as I was led to believe. Seems as times gone by the quality has slipped and now they are really not much better than the one Triumph fit standard.. so I've been told.

I always (nowadays) keep my battery on a battery tender, after talking to Bubz he keeps both his and his wifes triumphs on a battery tander (one each) since new and NEVER changed a battery in 5 years.

Yeah found the same, will be going the heavier cable and starter the starter in the Rocket is a 1.2 the replacement I have and Mittzy is talking about is a 1.4 and according to Wayne Tripp should solve the cold weather starring the heavier cables solution has really only been bought up since then, funnily enought hook up a second battery in tandem also solves it and is what I am currently running but will need to take second battery out at some stage to put back in the Honda ST1100 so I can sell it
