I spoke to Mittzy and he said it was ok to put this on this thread........maybe shipping could be quite expensive due to the weight so here is another local option maybe.
I gave the starter numbers to my local friendly Auto Electrician, he got back to me with some interesting info.
In Australia the starter is off a Toyota Camry with a 5SFE engine.
Basically the genuine Nippon Denso starters are a very good unit and rare to have problems.
Alot of the after market starters are Chinese made and they have seen issues with them.
His thoughts are if you want a replacement starter you could to go to a wreckers and get a genuine Nippon Denso starter off a Toyota Camry with a 5SFE motor, for about $20 to $40, get sparky to go through it & rebuild it, put your end housing on and it should owe about $120 to $150 all up with a guarantee.
or a Brand new genuine Nippon Denso starter is about $250 plus gst
Anyway just abit of food for thought
