The trouble is its an intermittent fault,and usually only does it after a long ride out, most of the time it's working fine !.

Well finally got the starter motor off the trike, had to remove drive shaft to allow access but I got it off.stripped it apart and as one other had said the contacts where slightly car boned up so cleaned them all and refitted. Let's hope that's the end off it.

Just read my reply the captain obvious comment was not meant how it came across. Just meant there are too many starter switches one these rockets. Apologies frosty.
