Done it (GOR) again a couple of weeks ago, only actually seen one radar in Appollo bay , but regards the speed limits where its 80 and being enforced , and most importantly the need for speed kicks in , like others said , just enjoy the scenery , you will get a buz overtaking the japanese tourists on the buses ,
Other than that theres lots of places where sitting on 80 and not slowing for the bends is going , to be hard work for some on a rocket , when the twistie stuff stops the speed limit raises and no cops anyway .
When we were stopped having a coffee at Port Cambell , there were a couple of harleys over the road , local cop pulls up to me and my mate also on a rocket ,
He looks at the bikes and says ,,,, are they belt drive , Naw we answers ,,, He gives us a nod and says thats alright then , Belt drives are not welcome ,, . nice change to meet a cop with a sence of humor .
By the way Hanso , thanks for getting them phone numbers too me we ended up having to go to Nowra , and waiting a couple of days to get the tyre ,, nice blokes to deal with , even lent me a T bIRD to carry on sightseeing with while they done my tyre , Sorry we could'nt make the salvo , mainly my fault , i had to get back to take my missis for some hospital appoinments , the joys of getting older
