Starcom1/ZUMO Install.....Finally

Must get mine fitted, I've done the undertank filter mod so the starcom, radio and ipod will go in the space where the filter was, going to have the headset plug in where the accessory socket should go and wire it into the accessory socket plug.

I might move the headset plugs over to the right side panel. The plugs come with a cut out template. I relocated my ignition to the left side so there is really no room there. The accessory socket is always hot by the way, that's why I didn't tap into it.

Goaler how do you like that ignition switch relocate?

Can you buy a kit for this mod, or did you do it yourself?

The kit is made by RIVCO. All it is is an extension for the ignition wires and a plate for the ignition housing. But!!!! It is a real pain to get the ignition assembly off; it has tamper proof screws. I ended up pretty much cutting the thing off with a Dremel. If you do a search in this forum you will find a how-to that I think was posted before RIVCO put out the kit.
