That's what you got out of my rant? Me riding 65 mph is perfectly fine although the people dropping their kids off at the Middle School have a problem with it.

If you are holding up traffic at "65 mph" get out if the left lane no mater what your speedometer says

Yep. Last year In Miami, FL on the way to work the left lane averaged 75-80. I'd move over when I saw patrol cars coming up behind me as they would be doing 85+ (all in a 55mph zone). In Tucson, you are required to try and not make the left lane your permanent lane (passing lane only). That said, in busy traffic when in the left lane you have to stay with the flow of traffic, regardless of speed, or its a ticket-able offense. Most generally that's about 10mph over. My Mom, who loves to drive under 5 or right on the speed limit has had several close calls... but she's since learned when and where that's appropriate.
