not really yes we may get a bit higher hourly rate but are taxed heavily aswell, I when our dollar was closer to yours we would save big time getting things from the states including shipping still do on some items

It's obvious that someone somewhere is being charged a premium so others can buy cheap. Be grateful you"re not paying the equivalent of $490 USD a set like we do in Australia (no discounts)

I totally agree , as the old sayings go, there is no such thing as a free lunch, some one has to pay the piper ,rob Peter to pay Paul ect , down the line either the costs are recuperated or the vendor goes belly up, sometimes a small discount can bring in bigger return Business, but one off Discounts are not good business unless you are confident of a returning Client,

Almost always in the fine print somewhere, "may not be combined with other offers", almost guarantee it's there, somewhere.

I didn't buy any Avons this sale but as far as I'm concerned it never should have been there if they planned to weasel out of it. If its posted, then honor it...EVEN if it was not meant to be there. It's just good business.

Tires are a consumable item that gets bought over and over again. There are many companies to pick from (not in the case of our Rockets). Piss off a bunch of customers and you have lost not one sale each, but many sales longterm.

Now doesn't it make sense to man up and honor the offer? Not to mention MANY people won't even take advantage of the rebate. Avon can easily afford to do this and should. Rant over.
