Something fell off of my Roadster today

Today at 650 miles the noise was a bit more evident for about 60 seconds before I heard something hit the road. It sounded like metal clanking down the road. I looked for it, both on the road, and where it might of detached from, but I can't find anything. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
