2010 R3R it has TORs on it. I bought it used but it used to be able to pull out with not giving it gas in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears. I bought a ram air last year and did the "12min tune" and I can no longer pull out in 1st gear without giving it a little throttle. I did put the stock air box back on and did the 12 min tune again but it still not like it was in the beginning. Bike runs smooth . Any ideas on how to get to the way it was?

Real tune... Most bolt ones don't do jack squat for real gains.
Imo there is something else wrong. Clogged cat maybe?
It's has TORs on it. It got like that as soon as I did that 12 min tune after I installed the ram air.

The "tune you did was just a light map adjustment to the idle air speed and a general shift for emissions. Nothing to do with actual fuel mapping for more power. Unless internal mods are done... Not much power is gained for any modification well at least nothing that your but Dyno can tell the difference from other than being more peppy and loud. Just saying.
Did you pull out the secondary idle butterfly valves?
You can also check the sweep of the tps with tune ecu.
If no then I'd say you were running rich before and now it's a bit closer to correct. Most bikes including the rocket does not just go with out some throttle from a stop with out stalling.
I would say you should also not be in that habit in riding. Lean how to work the clutch slip zone and not move the throttle past 1200 rpms.
I'm fairly confident that you have no issues and to solve what you want done is to upload the old tune and put it back to stock. But imo it was probably running too rich at idle as it was.

There's a RAMAIR-TORS tune on here in the tuning area. If you want to try your hand at TuneECU you could get that power feel back. Otherwise with the loss of back pressure your bike will feel a bit dead.

WELLLLLLLL
NO
you are right but not for that reason. Its about the exhaust tuning resonator sound waves working with the intake and exhaust valve timing TOR's sound ok but they mess up the tune not for the back pressure loss but for the sound pressure wave dynamic that was tuned for. NOTHING to do with back pressure. the time it takes for a pressure wave to do anything, the sound wave had done it many times already. here is a great video to explain both.
basically a 3 piston air pump is HIGHLY subjected to BAD TUNES that do not account for the crazy dynamic.. aka you need a tune

When you fitted the ramair, where did you place the Air Intake Sensor?...This measures the temperature of the air entering the throttle bodies and if put in another location, like on top of the motor where the air is a lot hotter, will affect how the bike runs. It needs to be near the ramair intake. You probably know this but its a.."Just in case" mention....
