Wrecka now that I've changed my seat over I have a seat of my standard you can have mate if wanted I don't want anything for it .it has a small nick in it .

Just thought Wrecka could try the seat on his bike and see if he likes the seating position .. as far as I know there is little or no difference in the actual size of the Standard non-gel and the gel seat.

I would like a seat that is about 2 inches taller than the stock Roadster seat. It would be nice to have the extra padding and leg room.

I am too chicken to just buy one untested given how expensive they are. I always hear how much rider's like aftermarket seats but I always have a little voice in my head saying "I have to say I love this seat given how much I paid for it!". I did sit on a friend's Kawasaki Vulcan that had a Mustang seat on it....he loved it compared to his stock seat but from just sitting on it in the garage I could not really tell the difference. He claimed he could double is daily mileage without feeling it.

Im gonna sound like an idiot but dont get me wrong i appreciate all the help , but are the gel seats single ? I ask as my bike is set up for single only

I have a Gel rider and Gel pillion I asked the same question but was told by Triumph there was only only a one piece Gel to suit the Touring If any body is interested I am happy to sell them and I also have custom made sheepskin covers made by "The Good Wool shop in Berry" they made fantastic sheepskin covers for most bikes, if interested send a "Conversation"

So are these seprate seats ?

Thanks for the offer mate , is that a gel seat Pete ? Im sorta confused but if it's the same dimensions as a gel might be worth throwing it on for a bit to see if i like the changed seating position like TC mentioned before i go spend coing on a gel one.

Yes but the pillion is wide than that poor excuse of the seat they fit originally Ill take some pictures of them tomorrow as I am about to go in and do a night fill at Woolies then on to my normal job at the nursing home
