** SOLD ** Brand new in the box R3T chrome accessories

Hey TC & Gothlander,
Shipping to or from OZ for a part that cheap is stupid!
I just bought a cool back rest from HansO, for something like $100 and after shipping it was $193. Not worth it for a $40 part IMHO

Stupid not to more likely. The part cost here is $93 plus P&H. The part in USA is $46 plus about $15 P&H, so at half the cost there as quoted by the seller is $23 plus $15 P&H I would be STUPID not to. But alas there seems to be an aversion by some to send to Australia, not sure why?

Like i said .. on the ball ;)

OK. I made it to St. George, UT after 425 easy miles.

Look like the rear rack is sold.

I am asking $135 shipped for the front and rear fender rails and $35 shipped for the chrome water pump cover. Triumph might've discontinued the front rail for some reason.

I hope you guys find those prices fair and/or reasonable. If not, PM me.

Dan

Goth,
Well, I sure do agree that shipping back and forth to OZ has not been problematic for me. I have done it with HansO, another former V2K & Rocket man from Sydney area and one non motor bloke from Adelaide.

The shipping cost must increase exponentially with weight, because my back rest was like $90 to ship.

Anyway, you win in regards to shipping that water pump cover and I shall tap out.

Bull it's quite a bit dearer to ship from Australia to the U.S than the other way round. When you combine that with the way we get shafted for parts it's nearly always cheaper to buy overseas. Buying and shipping stuff from here has to be done with that in mind mate ;) .. now stop posting and go find my project bike :D

$40 shipped in the US...but I see you're down under! I can't ship int'l.
Skip has sent stuff for on several occasions and it is a only half of what it cost to send the other way round, when I sent T-shirts it cost $10 to buy the shirt but about $15 to send to the States and a couple bucks more to send to the UK. Note to Pete (gpthlander) if you cant get it of Dan get in touche with Richard I think he is about to order some stuff of NCY the chrome waterpump cover is a great addition and very easy to put on I love mine, if you miss the boat with richards order I will be getting some stuff from the states in near future as well next month probally, so just let me know, you could pick it up when you are here in Sept to save Aussie postage:rolleyes:

Just looking for a bargain, and thought it would not be a problem to post to OZ. If Dan could explain why it is a problem I would be happy with the whole exercise. The "oh you're in OZ f#ck off" attitude with no reason just pisses me off. With the new Mother Board Earth world we live in, I can't see the problem other than some sort of elitist attitude.

Well, the truth is, your history causes me a little concern. Yes, it's no secret that your entire island was populated by criminals and ne'r do wells from England. Could I in all good conscience send a chrome part to a penal former colony? I don't want to be party to serious crimes like "speeding" or "dangerous comering." And don"t even get me started on "Harley Bashing."

I'll get a shopping queue from San Diego, CA, USA (land of zero crime) to Oz.

And the water pump cover is yours. OK?

Dan!
