i'm not sure how to spell my own last name, but I ran across a clip that showed net worth aus vs usa and I dont remember were I saw it to refer now but yea, you guys are worth more than us guys. If your all like crocodile dundee then your worth every penny. 20k usd? report i read was more like 200k usd household for aus. interesting.

OK, I got to see the bike today and it looks like a steal for the money, the service mgr looked up the bike and there was a recall on the 'output shaft' done. he didn't seem like he understood what he was reading off the screen so his explanation was unclear, anyhow I asked if the "update kit" was installed and he said no. If this bike was there when I bought mine I would have bought it. since the tranny and/or bearing problem is considered random this is probably the best r3 on the market right now if you look at ebay or craiglist. The bike was tucked in winter storage so I didn't get to hear it.

It's shameful that somebody already stepped on his ability to sell it here.

When I decided to buy my R3 over 5 years ago, I did my own homework, learning about the bike's strengths and weaknesses and what I had to look out for. You know... what is commonly referred to as "caveat emptor".

Unless someone knows that a bike being put up for sale in the classifieds here or elsewhere is defective, whether that be a condition from the factory or due to an accident/misuse, they should just STFU and let people conduct their own business. That's my $0.02 worth and I'm sticking to it.
