I think that's exactly what's going on as they have shipped out in Europe.

If that is the case you may have to wait longer and probably get it cheaper. I'm sure Triumph will drop the price for all of the disgruntled buyers in a good faith act. This is shaping up to be bad for Avon and the new Rocket release. This may get ugly if they are recalling all of the rear tires.

The rocket just has too much power. Ripping the tread right off those tires. Probably have to add some steel belts to hold together...

I haven't heard @Steel or @Claviger complain about that ?!?

Avon's website still says the recall only applies to these sized tyres manufactured between 8th. April 2018 and 10th. June 2019.

That's true but now nobody in the U.S. has any available. How long before this affects other production runs or the front tire? I don't mean to sound like the sky is falling but I think there is more bad news ahead.
