i was lying in the hospital bed, totally drugged up. i still have no memory of these events. my son who sat faithfully beside me would break up the boredom by informing me of my situation. he would start by telling me if I remembered that new triumph shirt i just bought. I would respond with a yes and then he told me how they had to cut it off and i would moan 'oh nooo, not my new shirt'
my son would wait a few minutes and then would begin asking me about my new leathers? and i would respond" oh noooo, not my leathers"
Then he would begin again about asking me about my bike[2012 rocket roadster] dad , do remember what happened to the bike? YA DAD , IT BURNED UP. NOTHING LEFT, NOT EVEN THE RUBBER ON THE TIRES." Oh noooo, not my bike." The good news is that God is Good and I'm still here. It'll be a long recovery [7 broken ribs, 2 crushed vertabre, screws and pins in my back]

So be carefull and thanks for the forum, I'll have to do my riding through you for a while

2012cliff,
From my hospital bed to yours - heal fast, Amigo.
I see you are pretty new here. Where you hail from and what happened?

My 2012 R3R can be repaired and was not totaled as yours and I have been down the broken back road (25 years ago) and have serious sympathy for you and your long recovery. Each day brings you one more closer to recovery.
Best Regards,
1olbul
