Size comparison R3 V R3R

Those are the pictures I was wanting to see, a side by side ,head to head. I knew the angles would make all the difference in the world on how they look. When all is said and done I think the smaller tank and minimal rear fender make it look smaller. The seat height might be lower too but that does not make a bike small. It might look and feel like less but i think in total evaluation it is not a little bike.

I also know that the tank on the old Rocket is not really as big as it looks because of its asymmetry and all that air crap underneath.

Now if it is smaller maybe it needed to be. Wait for the heresy................................. The old bike was a pig and needed to trim the fat.:p I think Rocket riders are into looking big.

Think about it. If is a smaller bike and it has a bigger motor how is that so bad? Is it the seat, peg and bar position that might be cramped?

I ha e several bikes and can ride them all comfortably for consecutive days so I'm not terrible worried about mine. Now if I'm wrong......:(:(:(:(;)

Received my email from triumph overnight to test drive...may go and have a look this weekend. I’m at the too big end of the scale (6’6” and 125 kg) so it will be interesting to see how I fit.
I'm the same height as you but you are about 40lbs heavier than me. So let me know

I got to sit on one last Friday. My local dealers has one. Not my cup of tea. To many gizmos and wiz bangs on the handle bars for me. But the seat is really comfortable. Rather firm and kinda just cups your a**.

I ride an Indian Roadmaster so gizmos on the bars is pretty normal for me.

That's a crazy price. Wow, 11,000 GBP?? That's $14,478 USD!! I bought my 2016 R3R, same color config, with leather panners and roadster shield for $10k USD and it only had 880 miles on it. Looking back, I wished I had negotiated more and pushed them into the $9K range. It was at an Indian/Victory/ Yamaha dealer and they wanted to offload it quick because they took it on a trade and didn't fit with their other brands.

But that's how it's going over here - the original - even tired - are fetching good money
