Sidestand Extension

I tried to reach NewR3.com; sometimes it refused to connect, other times it bounced me to NewBonneville.com. I couldn't find availability of the Rivco pad there, or anywhere else on the interwebs for that matter. I searched Ebay US, Ebay UK, etc looking for something that could be made to work, but the Rocket's diamond shape pad doesn't fit any pad that I found.

The NewR3.com picture shows a short side stand tang sticking straight out, in line with the main leg. The Squaredeals picture shows a long tang sweeping to the rear. The tang on my R3R is long and sweeps to the rear just like Squaredeals pic, so I'm hoping for the best.

Squaredeals Product Code: R3 TR3013-2
Description: Triumph Rocket III Sidestand Pad: 2007on Classic & Tourer With Factory Floorboards
Cool, good luck!

I do not think it fitted my '10 R3R and the Classic chrome sidestand I have has been already 'modded' with a huge footprint 6mm steel plate welded on and painted silver.

Please let us know if it works and post a photo. I have a 2007 “Tourer” . Thinking of picking up a pad.

ransan, the Rivco TR3-3013-2 Sidestand Pad arrived a week ago, and it is the right part for the 2015 R3R. The pad is chromed aluminum, in one piece, very nicely finished and a nice snug fit. It secures with a 1/4" x 28 tpi set screw and I used Blue Loctite.

I think the chrome is way too blingy for a matte black Roadster so I sprayed it with black Plasti-Dip as a short term test. Satin black powder coat might be in the pad's future. I'm happy with the result and the price is right. Pics attached.

The buying experience at www.squaredeals-ltd.co.uk was great. I received friendly emails for order confirmation, shipment and follow up.

Looks good. I like it thanks for the review

I would opt for something so however nobody done it till now.. I'd prefer it both for modern looking though for more gripping on bottom side..

otherwise I could do it myself.. slightly wider of mine if it's possible, if it doesn't bump with engine cover obviously.. I would opt for not more 7mm thick inox piece, for its resilience unders weight stress, on it I would weld some inox pieces whose width should be on 7mm.. while for height I think on 3mm, neither more nor less, though I would like more however I thought it wouldn't be prudent.. for if I stop where ground is downhill it could be risky, I wouldn't rule out some micro-moviments if ground is slightly imperfect..
