I have had the rivco one since 2006 helps give a bigger footprint, but I do not think that is what you are after? I remember years ago some guy cut and added a piece into his kick stand to make it longer.
This clever pad slides over the stock sidestand foot and is secured with a setscrew. It has over two times the area of the original.
No more worries about your motorcycle falling over or fumbling around looking for your sidestand plate.
Machined from billet aluminum and show chrome plated.
This product fits 2007 models onwards with factory floorboards and sidestand "Tang" extension as pictured.
I moved my side stand pad from my 2005std to my 2011 roadster and it fitted no problem. The RIVCO ones are designed to fit the earlier Standard peg models 2004 to 2009 i.e not the 2010 onwards Roadsters with ABS which have a different foot pad and extension bar as do the R3Ts.
There was also the version for 2007 on R3s with factory footboards fitted like the R3 Classic and R3 Classic 'Tourer'. The 'Tourer' was a fully kitted out factory optioned version of the 'Classic'.
Pretty sure they are long out of production but I have Chrome one I tried to fit to my R3R.
Got it from Squaredeals motorcycle clearance in UK I think.
Yep, they still have them 2 years on!
