I have had the rivco one since 2006 helps give a bigger footprint, but I do not think that is what you are after? I remember years ago some guy cut and added a piece into his kick stand to make it longer.

I thought about that, my old Norton had a big swoopy type kick stand that stuck out a ways so you could get to it. Only bad thing about it was it stuck out too far. I was blasting onto the Coronado Bay bridge one afternoon and leaned over enough for the end of the kickstand to make hard contact with the road. As soon as it happened the bike stood straight up and I was headed for the wall, talk about a pucker factor!!!

Luckily I was able to get it reined in before I hit the wall and was tossed over the side of the bridge to the parking lot below.

One thing it did though was bend the kickstand back far enough clearance was never an issues again.

The RIVCO ones are designed to fit the earlier Standard peg models 2004 to 2009 i.e not the 2010 onwards Roadsters with ABS which have a different foot pad and extension bar as do the R3Ts.

There was also the version for 2007 on R3s with factory footboards fitted like the R3 Classic and R3 Classic 'Tourer'. The 'Tourer' was a fully kitted out factory optioned version of the 'Classic'.

Pretty sure they are long out of production but I have Chrome one I tried to fit to my R3R.

Got it from Squaredeals motorcycle clearance in UK I think.

Yep, they still have them 2 years on!

Wow, I'm amazed NewR3 still shows these long out of production RIVCO items available. Would be interesting to know their inventory. In any case, if you only need one, that's all they need to have on the shelf when you order.

I moved my side stand pad from my 2005std to my 2011 roadster and it fitted no problem.

That is good news!

Must be just the R3 footboard versions the RIVCO ones did not fit then. Are they steel?
These Square Deals ones are aluminium for footboard versions.
 
I thought sw-motech too however there isn't nothing for us, I like too hepco becker yet them too do nothing for RIII.
