Side by Side All out Dyno Racing

The local Harley dealer sponsored a side by side dyno 1/4 mile drag race. Times & such are meaningless but it was still fun! Especially since I won my catagory (non-v-twin) and had the fastest time of everything that ran by a full 2 seconds. The prize was a cool metal trophy and a $200 gift card (redeemable at the Harley Dealer). The guy running the machine knew what a R3 is as he'd had 3 other Rockets run on his Dyno racer in the past and announced that he Loves this bike, that the torque these things put out is outrageous and he was double strapping my front wheel to insure ou t stayed in place My wife was watching and said when the light hit green and I dumped the clutch, the entire trailer was shaking! I couldn't help to think that the dealer who held this event to help boost Harley sales might have been sorry I showed up. Afterward people standing around everywhere where talking about that insanely fast Triumph

I did that at Daytona a few years back with a stock bike and a DS tyre - and still beat the hotted up ****** rockets. Lots of fun.
