Yes Dremel tool...also the brackets come gray..painted them black to match bike.
Also the bolts are short if you put the supplied rubbers in.
You can leave them out or use longer bolts...I used longer bolts, a friend of mine left the rubber out.
He also did the original headlight cuts then used his as a template for mine..so mine was easier....but not too hard to do...take your time little at a time and keep checking fit.
might be late but i have 16 roadster- i use the Viking bags, heavy denier/zipper, some little mesh compartments. what i like is I throw over or under pinion when i want or need. cheap to!
to the group- i'm looking for flip- i've emailed his store's website no reply- looking for his oEM saddle back kit as my left is needing to be shaped up- flip are you out there?

I have synced up with flip if any of you are like me in my situation paid high dollar for the factory OEM bags but now look like they acquired some disfigurement due to weather, water, etc (wife putting her louie in there carelessly) hit up sales@flipmeisters.com he has a nice solution/workaround to turn your bags looking like new. Nice guy to deal with I might add..
