Anyhow, other than being careful in the CA traffic, by all means ride. Once on the open road it will give some good time to get used to the way she handles.
Be aware, you get the beast over about 30 degress at a stop and she is going the rest of the way over
I'm finally purchasing a 2012 Roadster on Tuesday, here's my problem, the bike is in Ventura, California, and I live in Tucson, AZ, should I ship it? Or ride it back, I can get a free flight to LAX.
If it were your girlfriend, I would want to see pics before I offered to ride her back, but since I know what your ride looks like, I'd tell you to go get it! Get on it and ride it.
Ride it! I rode mine from Dallas to Shreveport, then from Shreveport to San Antonio.. The last 100 miles or so, I was hauling butt. It was January 2nd, and I was not prepared for cold weather riding once the sun went down.. lol
