Back to topic, you may want to try a touring gel at the dealer (if they stock one) to see if that meets your requirement for position and style. (see my avatar) Only down side is the gel gets really quite warm in the summer as it will absorb BTU's like a sponge and just like a sponge when you sit on it deliver the BTU's to your buns soaking them in a nice wash of concentrated heat (your butt cheeks will feel like they are near plasma temperature for the first 300 miles and then cool to molten lava after that). Great for spring/autumn, not so cool (literally) for summer. But it looks good on the bike. I have one I keep around if I ever get tired of the OEM with Utopia backrest (so far, aint happened). Good luck.

I just use the standard Triumph dual touring seat. I have 2 - one with rider backrest and one without, I guess because it's too much fiddle to take the backrest off and far simpler just to use the key. ;) I have to say I find them to be the most comfortable and best looking seats around. Not many people agree with me, however. But I can't see the point in spending up big on something that looks like it belongs in a lounge room or on a cafe racer and won't be any more comfortable anyway. Personal preference but you might want to look into it as an option.
