I've run plugs for 1000's of miles. No problems. I would not use that sloppy crap in a tire.

Keep it under 140 MPH.. Here's a story you'll find interesting, i went cross country back in 2004 with my Harley buddies . We all planed for weeks to make sure our bikes and gear were in order,there's always one in the crowd that waits till the last minute. This guy shows up with his Wide Glide the day we're leaving with a balding rear tire with at least 2 plugs in it. I got a flat in Illinois on the way back and one of the guys riding his BMW blew a radiator hose . Ole baldy after riding 6300 miles comes home unscathed
Half the guys slimed their tires. On my second trip trying to avoid the hassel i went threw on the first trip i did SLIME my tires . My 2 cents just use it for emergencies only. The mistake i made was keeping it in the tire over a long period of time. When it came time to get new tires it had rusted the whole inside of the rim,if it rusted the rim who knows what reaction it may have on the tire itself...

When I first replaced my rear tyre back in early 2006 it was on only a day when I saw a finish nail in the bloody thing no way was I replacing a one day old tyre, slimmed it as per instructions and it never leaked once.
When I replaced that tyre the rim was a mess with the green slime all over and it took the installer longer to clean the rim than to replace the tyre when he did clean it the rim was sparkiling like a mirror so I doubt very much that the green slime is corrosive.

Harley rims are steel covered with chrome. I'm on my second set of rims after eleven years. The chrome has given way to rust on both the outside and inside. Aluminum compared to steel As a matter of fact i just ordered a Fat Daddy front rim it came in last week.
