I've been debating a Scorpio myself, mostly to get the proximity sensor. I do alarm now with a massive ABUS disc brake lock that howls if someone moves the bike, but there are situations where I wouldn't mind having an alarm that immobilizes the bike and starts howling even before that. But yeah, wouldn't buy the OEM system on a bet at this point, Scorpio looks good though. Their Ride system looks fun too, although not something I need off hand.
