Sand in engine, help!

Gidday to all. Well, first I like to say thanks to Ponters for putting me onto Neville Lush Racing in Victor Harbour.
He really new the stuff when it came to rebuilding my bike with a gut full of sand in it. He would of had it for about 2 months & after numerous calls around the place to some contacts he had for parts & I'm sure much swearing, cursing & skun knuckles on his part, my little treasure # 2 (after the missus) is back on the road but a whole new & much improved bike.
Cut a long story short, along with a new exhaust (same as Ponters) & a heap of after market bits she now pulls 203 hp. Me mucha grande impresse. Thanks again Nev if you read this & I thoroughly recommend Nev for any sort of work required on the mighty Rocket. Will try & upload a video of the exhaust which must weigh 1/3 of the original & sounds the business.
Got the Hagon Nitro's sitting at home waiting to go on when I get back so will look a bit more trick & handle better.

excellent news. 206hp of lush torque curve...hmm..now that'd give ya a sore face from grinning wouldn't it?

Got to agree with you about Nev, I've had a lot of work done with Nev and always found him helpful and accommodating. Just about to get the the latest Rocket tickled with Nev again.

Enjoy the rebuilt ride:D

what are you getting done bob?

No worries Chevy it was a pleasure dealing with you. It was lucky the exh cam locked up in the head stopping large bottom end damage. We did however spend a WHOLE bunch of time stripping cleaning etc etc.( as chvey 400 knows) Also set up the gearbox proper while we were in there. All stock inside apart from pistons, cams and HD clutch pack. Bike runs nice and I wish I was there to see your face when you gave it the berries for the first time :)). Cheers Nev BTW thats heavy duty not Hardley Davidson

oh for **** sake lushie..... i had this gut wrenching feeling for a minute :D:D:D

Just the basics for starters, I've had a quick chat to him about your bike mate, and that sounds about what I'd like. The problem with me is the over zealous attention of the filth here in Adelaide towards anyone wearing colours. I would like to keep the bike as quiet as possible, so I may just go with the NOS again and a de-restrict.

Regards Lofty
