Lol. I already had that revolutionary thought. I bought them a few years back and didn't buy them direct. I've tried to find the company website to no avail. If you know it I would be grateful. Thanks.
Closest I could find was this old web page with dead links, seemingly part of, what used to be, a complete site for them. Saddlebags for Triumph Thunderbird
It seems there is NO direct website link to K-Drive. I guess I'll have to check with some distributors. Trouble is I can't remember where I bought them. Senility at it's finest. Thanks for your help.
Can you remove the locks fron the backside and take out the cylinders?
Take the cylinders to a locksmith or a hardware store and get new replacement cylinders with new keys to match.
I do not know what K bags look like so I am only guessing the locks are a common type.
Interesting approach. I hadn't thought of that. I'm going to see if the keys are universal and if I can buy some from a k-drive distributor like classiccruiser.com. If that doesn't work, then I will definitely explore your idea. Thanks a lot. take it easy.
Thanks TriumPhil. It doesn't seem to be a working website out there for them. Somebody else pointed out a vartex "webpage under construction" site. Oh well. I still have plan "A" and "B". Btw, I'm obviously new to this site, but what is meant by "standard bore" under my avatar? I see some with a 0.20 over and 0.60 over. What does this mean? Thanks.
