saddle bag /cases options?

I have EDGE 103XL bags on EZ Brackets. Twice the Triumph OEM bag at half the price and 100% waterproof to boot. On and off in 10 seconds each.

Chrispy, tell me about those passenger boards .... are you using a relocation bracket with them? I was considering boards for the wife and thought about moving them forward. I"ve seen the brackets that move them forward and wondered if they clear the chrome where the stock pegs go. Is there some kind of extension that moves it outwards so it doesn't mash the chrome cover?

The passenger boards require the relocation arms. The arms come with a bushing that moves them out to clear the chrome cover. Your passenger will give you good sex for putting them on. :D

AhHa .... the brackets in the parts picture don't show the bushing ... that explains alot.
I got the wife a Butty-Buddy for her ars and wanted some floor boards to allow her to move around a little more. Anything to get her to ride w/me more often yaknow.
I should start a thread to review the Buddy seat, its a nifty little product. **** expensive, but seems to be worth the money so far. She didn't like any of the seats I have and needed a butt break every 1/2 hour during our last long trip. Wasn't going to stop that often when we go to Ocean City's bike week in Sept, so I had to do something. I certainly wasn't going to part with my Corbin Young Guns saddle, and I couldn't blame her for not wanting to sit on the back of that rock. The Buddy raises her up just enough so that she can see over my head now (She's 5'2" and I'm 6'2"), that was the first thing she noticed. We'll see how it works out on a long haul, so far-so good. ;)

That's the only thing I didn't like with the seat .... the passenger part was worthless for anything other than bar-hopping.

tdragger,

I've heard reports that this seat starves the engine of air due to insufficient airflow under the seat. Any idea if that's true?

I'd love to have two seats -- one for two-up with integrated passenger backrest, and one for solo, but it looks like Corbin's Touring seat uses a funky mounting bracket, so it is not an easy deal to swap it with a Young Gun.

My brother has the Corbin Young Gun seat and used the Butty Buddy for his pax. Everyone seems to like it.
