Yeah, but what else happened when the engine stopped? Instrument lights? Headlights? Crook (intermittent) ignition switch soldered connection did that to me when it cracked.....
Ruzzle, only thing happened was engine died - instrument lights and headlights all on, I didn't even turn off and on ignition, just fired her up again. Btw, the entire ignition/electrical loom was replaced about 30K ago
Mine has done that as well (shut off) at very infrequent times. I attribute it to the great Brit electronics (ghost of Lucas) installed within it and have my expectations adjusted accordingly :mrgreen:
Goth, there was no sudden air temp change - I guess the air sensor could have gone tits up temporarily. The TPS is brand new, so what else would cause low voltage sensor calibration?
