Once upon a time, several years ago, I used the gear ratios, and final drive ratio to work out the true ROM to MPH ratio. (I must have been very bored.) IIRC, it worked out to within a gnats whisker of 25mph/1,000rpm (40kph/1,000rpm). Of course, different tyres will affect this, as will the amount of tread on the tyre and the air pressure - it depends how anal retentive you want to be. On the dyno, at 165mph, this was confirmed. 
Therefore true speed at 3,000rpm = 75mph, but indicated speed will be about 81mph.
