Rockets aren't for everyone...

Smart AND good looking!
Also sounds like a great challenge to me . . .
Once at the Harley dealer she was looking for an accessory and the salesman said they did not make that part. She walked right over to the wall and said,” this it right hear”. I think I heard him muttering some foul language.

Well stated, Doc!
I like your "emotional" connection. Hadn't thought in that vein before, but it yells true for me!
I want the feel of satisfaction of pushing to my limits. My Rocket falls a tad short on this, but it is the best I have found so far in my old age hooning. I would prefer a sport bike that comfortably fit me and possesses limits that far exceed my own, but we do the best possible. This is why I do the research, so I can compare and assess what I can expect from my next drug machine!

Any of it start with a hard "C" sound?
Good on her!

I did more or less the same...hadn’t ridden for over 35 years and yes...bought a Rocket new and learned on it. Never looked back ....unless changing lanes of course !?!

I went and watched it again all I can say is he sounds like an upper class twit.

Umm...I thought he sounded pretty genuine and honestly for 23k as he said...you gotta love it!
I for one traded my 15 and bought a brand new in Feb 18 simply because I knew I loved my rocket Roadster and My perceptions are the new one is conceptually different...mine I believe is a balls out performance cruiser, I’d describe this new un as more of a performance sports bike , in other words a blow yer tonks off for an hour or two blast as opposed to see myself simply jump on my bike and just point it in any direction and rode for noir after hour. That’s it, I think they are really hard to compare, conceptually I think it’s moved catagory.

I agree although If I ever do buy one it will be used for overnighters so I hope it 'tours' well. I'm betting it will.
