RAA V - Spring Rocket Launch - Update

The Rockets Across America V – spring launch is starting to take shape. I have secured 20+ rooms, an Onsite shelter for eating and partying and even a hospitality suite with kitchen. The cost negotiated is 60.00 per night for double occupancy. This includes the use of shelter and the suite. All rooms have fridge, microwave, TV and Wifi. With room entrance and parking at front and rear. Stay tuned for booking information shortly.

I will be working with a local caterer to arrange Breakfast and evening meals on site so we can eat drink and have fun. Any suggestions on the type of food are appreciated. I will keep the cost at or below 25.00 a day per person for both meals. The motel is in a dry county but there is a package store in the next county less than 6 miles away. We will have a vehicle available to make beverage runs.

I have also selected the riding routes for all three days they will be between 125 and 175 miles each day with plenty of scenic stops to enjoy the area. The route selected for Saturday is going to be the most technically challenging as well as scenic. You will forget all about the dragon after this ride.

Kentucky Water fountain – People come from mile around to get drinking water from this mountain spring.

The Nada Tunnel – Better have a clear shield fro this one.
