Labor Day is the first of September, might be a good idea to stay away from that weekend but the following one would probably be great with kids back in school and crowds off the road. I'll be driving down from Bloomington IN
Chester
Okay, we've got to get something going or it'll never get done. It looks as though most posting recently like Eureka Springs, Arkansas. In addition, early September seems to be getting a lot of votes. What do you think about everyone commiting to the following:
RAAIII be held September 5-8, 2008 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
I've done a little investigation on places to stay. Prices will probably be a bit higher than the Taliban 8 but people in Arkansas speak English. Also I found a place just outside of town that has cabins and log cabins for rent. In some cases, anywhere from 2 to 4 people could share the expense if you don't mind a sofa bed or roll away. Here's the web site address. Look around and if interested, I've got the lady's name to contact for group rates and maybe a little discount.

Laber day weekend is August 29th threw Sep. 1st which is a Monday so we should be good on the first weekend which is the 5th threw 7th. My kids go back the 3rd week of August.
It's out there but as it is with place and date Heather and I are in.
Texas riders can get together and come up with places to meet along the way.
I looked at 2 routes and about 10 to 13 hours depending on which one. We should be able to do it in one shot if we leave early. We have done 9.5 whats a couple more hours
By the way, what's in Eureka Springs Ark? Must be a spring or two somewhere. I would say a head count would be in order before selecting accommodations befitting this cultural gathering.

As you start to loose feeling in your butt and you aren't sure if it's sweat or a wet fart that you slipped after that last bump but you know the next exit will provide a gas station, cold soda and toilet paper, just think of me and Nashville last year....2400 miles.
