Rockets Across America III

It's not gonna be that bad.. It'll still be in the high 90s down here in San Antonio, so up there should be awesome!
 
Ditto, I might actually have some vacation saved back up by then. I'll burn it all up going to New Mexico and Co.

My only other request is that we do it on either the 1st or 2nd weekend, those are the weekends I don't have my kiddo's.
 
First weekend in September (Saturday & Sunday would be Sept. 6 & 7)looks good to me. Hopefully, Bear's back surgery will be all done and in the past by then and I will have built some vacation time back up. Don't care where as long as the accomodations are within my range and clean. Bear will be happiest if the rooms have doors and windows for easy access and view of the bikes. He gets up all night checking on the bikes and wants to see them parked right outside his window.

My Bear is soooooo very hot natured I am sure he would enjoy the September temps too as long as we don't get into early snowfall. I can't hardly get him to go anywhere in June - August. But we have been to Ruidosa several times in September and it has been good. Warm enough in the day for this Summer Time Child and cool enough at night to sleep good.

And if possible like a couple have said lets stay away from those busy cities. Too much road rage and people not looking for us.
