Welcome, and congrats on sorting the LED situation out. I kind of blame Triumph for being sloppy with the rear harness especially, but on the other hand for the original task - funneling power through a glowing filament - it literally doesn't matter which way the current flows. I had to break out the multimeter on my Touring and actually measure it out when I put the LED clusters on mine, all the wires are 100% identical on it...
