Rocket X needs to be louder

I cant say whats inside the 2015 but my 2011 has the cats in the mufflers and the cross over is empty. I have taken the complete system of the bike to inspect this. It seriously only took about 15 minutes to do this. The cross over is empty with a minor restriction being that the right side pipe for the muffler is welded in and is into the cross over about 4 inches or so. Buy the TOR exhaust add the K&N kit and get the ECU tuned. You will be amazed at the difference in throttle response and overall power.

Ok convinced, TORS are on order, K&N was already ordered a few days ago. A little wrenching and a trailer ride for my girl over the mountains to Seattle. Thanks everyone for the input, hope to reciprocate some day.

Good Luck and enjoy that beast.

Just to throw the cat amongst the pidgeons.
My roadster pipes have had the cats drilled out and have a louder note than standard but probably not as loud as tors.

Curious what the trailer ride to Seattle is for???
Installing the TORs and K&Ns is easy peasy.

Remap it yourself with TuneECU. You can put the OEM Triumph "off road" tune if you want. The cable will cost less than the dealer will probably charge.

I'm game, where are there instructions to be found and what all is needed. The electronic parts come from an online source?

The software can be downloaded from TuneECU.com. The instructions and OEM tunes are there also. It also has links to where you can purchase cables, but most folk get them from Amazon. @HansO is the best chap to ask about special tunes.
