Rocket science

Alright, I'll go with the 2".
My hp wank competition is only including my Roadster and my old and sold Hayabusa. Should be rather easy, it was 152 hp stock.

Those pipes look ok in black. I initially had doubts but not any more. Your Daytona ?

The pipes were coated at the same time, same batch, so they match perfectly. It's quite nice if you are wanting to de-chrome the Rocket

Ya, the Tona parts collection is growing, soon it will hit critical mass, then she gets torn down to frame for refresh/refurbish. Runs fine, just want to make it like a new bike again.

Black exhaust looks good on the black engine bikes I reckon .. just had my Rebands ceramic re- coated black.

Yep I have to agree there after seeing the above picture. Oh well I can get them changed later when they start to show age etc not that I don't appreciate what I have of course.

Mines is a 2 1/4, but a little longer muffler. When out cruising around, doing legal(ish)things, it is a pretty sedate volume, louder with a full face than 1/2 helmet, odd as that sounds. The full face echos/resonates to the sound of the exhuast, the 1/2 helm doesn't.

ON THE OTHER HAND when I am loling at the speed limit signs, its loud, its fawking loud, its stupid loud, its louder than my Daytona 955 is at 11,000 RPM and that bike has a shorty Yosh R-55 exhaust on it with 2.5" collector. It's so loud infact, that in a swarm of "drag piped" hardleys, I hear my bike above and beyond all of theirs if I open it up.

I like the dual nature though, I can get around with a fairly moderate sound and avoid getting everyones attention unless I want to, and imho that is a good thing. Really, it doesnt get loud until about 30% throttle, and you dont need even 30% to speed
