Rocket owners average age!

You only have to worry when you say the same about 100 and 70!

When I get old(70 in September) I will have to cut down on my habit of long day rides, A group of us went down to the Superbikes at Phillip Island last weekend Rode down on Friday in one day and home on Monday 2400Klms total in 2 days, no worries but I was on the GTR1400 mile muncher

There was a 20 year old kid at RAA Maggie Valley a few years back, if he comesback you will get old quick

How old was the youngun that came to Spearfish?
Jason?

Just wait until you realize that you are likely closer to dead than back to 60!?!?

It is obvious from the responses here, including mine that most R3 Riders are, shall I say "further down the road" but given that I was always told by my dear old dad that with age comes knowledge and experience it is only reasonable that we would own and ride the best bike in the world, just didnt think it would take this long for me to realise it

My youngest son, now 26, brought home the first rocket to this house, 4 years ago...took me 18 months of "borrowing" his bike to get my own. soooo he was 22 when he Captioned UP! I'm just glad that he doesn't exhibit "throttle twist itis" near as bad as his father!!! I laugh when he tells me to GrowUp....I just remind him that i'm in my 2nd childhood

I believe there is a right of passage to a rocket, much like anything that is at the top of its field you need to have experienced the stepping stones to really appreciate the end, that said nothing wrong with your son buying it and you riding it
