just wanna say that its a awsome motorcycle, ive had at least 15 gold wings, about 5 harleys, a cushman, a mustang, a service cycle, a yamaha, and probabloy a few more, im 69 yrs young, retired usaf, in shreveport, louisiana, now working bas a private investigator, this motorcycle has more power than a person needs, it's a awsome ride and has a unbelievable handling ability, at least i find this to be true, its a 2007, not sure about the gas tank capacity ?? i figure about 250 miles or so, am i right ?? i plan to ride to california next april to visit my kids, any suggestions ??, looking for a back rest that will fit the corbin seat thats already mounted ?? also looking for a pair of old school leather bags that will fit plus the hardware for mounting the bags ?? like to have some suggestions from you guys and dolls about the correct air pressure in the tires, to keep those babys from cupping ??? i cant get over the three cylinder roar its really crazy, will it hurt this bike to cruise about 80 on the major hwys ?? are the blue hi intensity head lights factory ?? i find the windscreen is very low , can it be remounted to a higher position ?? im 6 ft tall, gotta duck to get behind the screen, is there a manufacturer that makes stuff for this hog thats after market?? yes i would say the harley 110 is a baby piglet along side this hog, its really an awsome ride..
been told stock approx 140 horse power correct ?? im considering it for the time being a work in progress, after all we all gotta screw with them after we getem !!
ill shut up and been nice meeting you guys and dolls, i do need a big triumph embroidered patch for the bach of my leather jacket,

Welcome Bob. I see you already find the same things appealing that most of us do. I'm sure you can get a back rest to go with your Corbin - someone will know for sure - but if you find you don't like it, Triumph make a pretty good set up (look left).
250 miles from a tank might be a bit of a stretch but it really depends on how you ride and how well the bike's tuned. I perhaps come close to that on a trip but not if I'm in any kind of hurry and certainly not around town. :D
I have Triumph leather bags on my bike sometimes (pics in my gallery) that sit nicely on brackets, but there are others you can get.
Also plenty of different screens. They're not my thing but some guys have some pretty tall ones; I'm sure you'll get pointed in the right direction there too.
Stock power is around 140hp but does vary somewhat. Pretty easy to squeeze a bit more out without breaking the bank though and for a "moderate" expenditure 200+ is waiting for you.
And so it begins!

Hello Bob Welcome to the site from Irvine Kentucky, tire pressure I run 40 pounds front and rear fuel tank size 6.3 gallons I checked my mileage today got 36.8 per gallon you'll probably have to check your mileage because I have noticed that. I go to other states and get better mileage Kentucky notorious for dumping ground for bad gas enjoy that Rocket :D

Another Aussie .. Another G'day. Welcome to Wonderland .. wonder what im going to do to my Rocket next that is ... :D

Hey Bob,
glad to have ya with us.
Louisiana huh?
Lets see, a lot of stuff to cover in your first post.
Clearview makes a taller screen, even got one with a vent.
utopia makes a nice backrest, not sure if it'll fit a corbin seat
but if it's a solo seat it'll work.
if ya decide you don't like the handlebars, any 1" bars will fit.
harley roadking is what I have on.
hope some of this helps, hope to meet ya in the spring
in Maggie Valley, N.C. at the next Rockets Across America, it'll be #8.
take care and once again, WELCOME.
