Rocket has ruined me

Since I got my Roadster a few weeks ago, every other motorcycle I see seems diminished. The bike parking area in the garage at my office is packed with various models every day and they look like dull, uninteresting clones of each other.

If Triumph decides to discontinue the line I may need to buy a second one and keep it crated against the day the first one wears out on me.

Rocket tends to do that. You'll eventually be able to 'appreciate' other bikes, but there's always a voice in the back of head that whispers, "Yeah, but it's no Rocket"

It was always my favorite, but I like a lot of other bikes, too. My current BMW may have knocked it temporarily out of "most ridden bike" position, but I'm pretty sure the Rocket would be the last bike I would get rid of.

Yeah I've had more than enough of this crap. I've only got about 2 hours total on the bike, unless sitting in the garage making vrooom noises counts.

Haha I can't agree more, I've only ever ridden big bikes but the first time I test ride the Rocket I can tell you I was more than a little intimidated!

But now she is in my garage every other bike seems second rate! All the chrome work is top notch everything on The rocket has weight no cheap plastic bits!! And then you get to the engine and nothing else comes close!!

Keep enjoying it brother! I know I will!

yep I went from rice burner good bikes, to T'bird storm great bike to Rocket !!! Excellent bike I remember going for my first test ride, took of from the dealers with him riding in front. talking to myself going Geez this handles better than the Storm, geez this accelerates better than my rice burners did, to S$%T I have to get one at all costs. Got one older model, and have never looked back. as stated before "yeah but it's not a Rocket"
