It takes a big man to admit when its time to move on. I have enjoyed your honesty and insight on this forum and sincerely hope you will be hanging around. I have been lucky with both knees replaced about 6 years ago now and sometimes when I'm moving the Rocket around I think to myself that if I stuffed up and fell over I would be stuffed but then I go for a long ride where my feet might be on the ground five or six times in a day and I change my mind. Travel well mate;)

Toughest decision ever made. The Rocket has been the only bike that had a soul, that had a character all of its own. I just couldn't bring my self to do any more damage. I engine bar with a couple of scuffs but next time?? Looking at some of the adventure sports bikes. Yamaha Tracer 900 GT or the more exotic MV Agusta Turismo vloce Lusso with the Rekluse clutch... KTM..not sure on those ...

That 900 triple in the Tracer is a great engine with lots of character. My friend has an MT-09 with the same engine and it's a blast. I'd definitely test one if you haven't already.
