Rocket Crashed and Totaled

I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS!!!

Mike; Thank you for the riding class. I have been fortunate and never had a bad spill. Only slow speed tilts. From now on will be extra careful if I have to join a train. Have made several trips to Daytona from Houston. Only three experienced sober bikes in the train. Once, while riding back roads with a friend, almost clipped him when a tractor came out of a farm road and he had to hard stop. The stagger saved us. Since that day I never follow directly behind anyone in close proximity unless going real slow.

In my field of work everyone brags about their success in the hallways but, we have quality (QA) conference to present our failures and errors and learn from the colleagues seniors in the room. It gets hot sometimes in those conferences. Pilots, SCUBA and firearm self defense enthusiasts do this too in their publications. I think it is very healthy that we converse about these events. Thank You!

Many of you know about my sentiments for GD MF***ing bicyclers. As they say in East Texas. They are all IGNERNT!

That's funny Stripes, I am a very avid cyclist...... But I agree with you 100% & will absolutely NOT. ride with the club here or any groups of other cyclists cauz yea, they b IGNERNT!

Wow Mike glad things where not worse having a half helmet on and your face is ok , a lot of times you see guys have full helmets if not having one on there face would of been messed up.
I had a friend as well hit a side of a truck only have a half helmet on and he only got a scratch on his chin.
But glad your ok.

Dont know how I missed this but glad to see that you are doing well and had a happy outcome.

It was 3/4 Jet style helmet a concept still used by most combat jet pilots, they are not that bad and I prefer using one around town and even on h'way for clearer vision and no fogging. I find anti fog systems and breath guards etc do not work for me unless the screens are cracked open as my glasses steam up anyway.

My Lazer Skins version has a great drop down clear screen that comes to nose level and behind a fairing screen is very comfortable and quiet. I made my own plastic sunshade from a black garden pot that goes between the liner and shell and makes riding into a setting sun enjoyable and safe. Something that many full face helmets even with sunglasses and tinted screens do not.
