Rocket 3 oil capacity

I changed my oil yesterday the owners manual says 6 quarts,at 5 it was a little past the full mark I ran it today and it's still the same,how much do you put in?........sandman

Absolutely the same on Rocket III Touring 2011. And have no idea why. Oil is hot on drain. All 3 plugs out + oil filter change... It's far less than 5.4l in manual. It's even a bit less than 5l (around 4.8L that equals 5 quarts you mentioned)....
