I've heard that their stuff is alright but I think you can find the same non-branded stuff cheaper.

If you want to pay to be someone elses billboard, that's your call...

I've have a couple of Triumph nylon jackets and they are very nice quality. I believe Triumph hit a home run on their apparel line as they have on their bikes. I've tried on several of their leather jackets and to me they are of equally fine quality like the Harley line of leathers.

However, line Harley, they are very expensive. There are a number of them I'd like to have but I just won't pay that much for leathers. To me the style and quality are superb; just too expensive.

I have the 08 rocket jacket. It is very well made and excellent value for money. I also have a summer triumph jacket and gloves. I think they make great riding gear at a reasonable price.

Over priced and may not fit well. I purchased the riding boots and had to have zippers installed ($100) so I could get my foot down into the shoe. Now that I can get them on, I know how uncomfortable they really are. :? :?

Me too. :D They are great boots and fit in the shop but now I have to hold the tops at the rears with a pair of pliers in order to get my foot in them. Very sturdy boots though that will hold up well in case of a "git off". :D

I believe that the same dope who designed the stock windshield and the rear foot pegs must surely have designed the uppers on these boots. Moron.

On fit, I believe the jackets run large, which I have found to be the case with good quality clothing. I bought a size 48 in the mesh jacket solid nylon jacket, which is the normal size I wear. They are both too big and, as I continue to lose weight, will soon be cavernous. Yikes!

There is definitely some nice apparel out there though. I just bought a beautiful heavy leather jacket with a tab collar on sale for $150. Of course it has neither a racing stripe nor a Triumph logo.

.

You might want to also buying stuff on discount at the International Motorcycle show.. husband got a great deat on kit last year. I'm going over this year....

Nitebell, I thought that surely had to be a misprint price for having the zippers installed. Holy crap. I'll have to find someone here in San Antonio to install them in mine. I do like the boots but concur that they are for a centaur or some other hooved beast.

Anyone wear one of these? Do you like it? Any other opinion that pertain to this Jacket or Triumph clothing in general?
Thanks
I bought one in the UK Triumph clothing sale this year. It is a fantastic jacket. I really like it. It is well made, long enough in the sleeves and back and the armour sits well.

In the UK Triumph have clothing sales every June and October/November. I got my jacket for £90 ($143 USD). Check with your local Triumph dealer if they do the same. If they do, then get ready to spend, spend, spend in a few weeks time.

With the winter approaches Cycle World International Motorcycle Show. Local dealers are usually on hand to unload excess inventory. Best deals to be had anywhere. http://www.motorcycleshows.com/ I usually try to get to the Dallas Show. It's a blast.
