Roadster Headlight not impressed

HellFire your comment about high beam being too high or low beam being too low is exactly what I am experiencing, may be I have to go to the eastern beaver relay path.

Hi I know your post is older, but I'm wondering did you ever sort out your headlight aiming issue? I have the same **** problem with my 2016, I adjusted the lows so I can see the road properly and the **** highbeams are in the the stratosphere. I'm trying to determine what issue is here, is is power (hence the need for the EB relay), or is it a bulb issue which can be resolved with say a PIAA upgrade or is the lens/ reflector assembly to blame? I was thinking of upgrading the bulbs, but if the reflector / lens is the issue then a new bulb won't resolve either.

The problem IS the OEM reflector lens buckets. I had the same problem and tried the same thing you did with the same results. To see down the road on low beam the high beams were in the trees and worthless. You don't need Eastern Beaver on a 2016. The head lights are already diverted out of the ignition switch. You could change the bulbs to a brighter type but you stil have the aiming problem.

You have to replace the OEM reflector lens buckets with another headlight reflector lens bucket or go to LED like so many have.

I have these. They work great. Just drill a hole in the reflector for your parking light. The reflector is metal not plastic.

Thank you. I was 85% convinced that the issue was either lens or reflector related. Sucks that it comes this way from the factory and I'm not sure how it gets past Q/C unless they don't check headlight alignment. I wonder if any other Triumphs experience this same problem. I'm not ready to pop for LEDs just yet and I don't want to go with the cheaper Chinese knock offs so I will opt for the Hella's, at least the Germans get those correct. Thanks again!

Idaho,
So these fit the roadster twin headlight set up?

Just FYI
I have a set of JWS Adaptive LEDs.
Cost me $1200.00 - sell for $500 + shipping.

I know what you mean, I depend on the light from my V-rod at night when my wife rides along.
