Roadster gear position sensor

My main gripe is why have Triumph not had a recall on this issue as it is clearly a design fault which has been corrected in production but have not done anything about earlier bike out there, I see in part of the Triumph document on how to replace this item and the mod to the taco and what Triumph clearly stated in that document is and I quote Failure to move the black/white wire in the taco may cause an incorrect operation of the neutral light which may lead to motorcycle control and an accident. Has anyone still have this Triumph document in full so It can download it if possible.

Hi. An update to my original post on the Roadster Gear position sensor and a thankyou to R-III-R Turbo for the info supplied on this issue. I bought a new updated part i.e. gear senor (4 wires) and fly lead but I was also expecting instruction to come with it as the final part of fitting this sensor does require altering the wiring in the Taco as mentioned by others on this forum, I have seen what seems to be A Triumph instruction sheet on this through this forum but I would still like to have the paper work to hand if you know what I mean. So I asked the dealership if they could supply this as Triumph sent out a bulletin along side issuing the modified sensor but they would not issue any form of data on this sensor. I know I can get this on this forum as I have been given the info here but I would still like the official Triumph fitting instruction document. Someone I know (in the know) that is could supply me with this info if I can give them the Triumph bulletin service update No. so they can find it and hopefully forward it on to me so does anyone have this service update !
